The wildest beach of Sérignan is the beach of the Orpellières which is located in the nature reserve.

Portiragnes
Situated between Vias and Sérignan, the seaside resort of Portiragnes is little known in Languedoc Roussillon. However, this resort has preserved a natural environment, very different from the large seaside resorts of the Hérault.
On the side of the beaches of Portiragnes, one can enjoy a stretch of sand about 2 kms from Vias Plage to Sérignan.
We enjoyed the nature side of this beach which is protected from the city center and cars by important dunes. The width of the beaches is important, it is not uncommon to find a setback of 50 meters.
The most eastern beach called La Redoute is very nice even if the attendance can be important because of several campsites in the side of Vias. Along the beachfront there is also a large supervised beach in summer.
Further to the west, at the level of the Grove, we have a beautiful beach with an area arranged for picnics in the woods.
The village of Portiragnes is away from the seafront. Small charming village with the Canal du Midi, it is the starting point of many walks on foot or directly on a barge.
The west beach, after the sailing school, is allowed to dogs on a leash.

The beaches of Cap d'Agde are accessible by footpaths (ramblas) which makes it pleasant for families with children (no roads nearby).
Note that the beach of Grance Conque is a beach of black sand at the foot of the cliffs of Cap d'Agde,
Which is rare in the region and even in France!
The Cap d'Agde is also a large tourist complex open to the Mediterranean with a thalassotherapy center and a naturist area.
On the island of leisure, you will find attractions for all day and night.
